About Susan Schneider
Hi, thanks for stopping by and looking at my art! I live in the Ozark mountains in a little house in the woods. Most of my inspiration for my paintings, photography and even my beadwork come from the beautiful place where I live. Many of the pictures I've taken are in my woods. I've been drawing and painting since I was a small child. My father was a professional photographer and my mother is a wonderful photographer and also painted. I grew up in a household where creating art was encouraged and celebrated. Later, I was to meet the love of my life, my husband Mike, the stone sculpter. We happily lived here for twenty years, creating art, living in the woods, gardening, fishing, tending chickens and living. I lost him to cancer January 15, 2017. I'm trying to rebuild my life alone now. My art and photography give me some solace, along with my surroundings and wonderful freinds and family. I will continue to paint, create and put new images up often. Please visit my website, cabinhillgallery.com for more information about me. I also do commission work for people in my area. Thank you and have a great day!
